It would always work out cheaper to employ some neighbours and friends instead of professional contractors as the contractors would charge you overpriced labour and material charges. But you may have to put up with your friends’ and neighbours’ demands and opinions. If you do not want to bother yourself with all this, then of course you can handle this project on your own. It would also be a lot quicker and easier on the pocket too!
